Wood's Homes Funding: Support for Our Programs

The Wood's Homes Foundation supports Wood's programs for children and families. Your contributions can be undesignated or directed towards a need of greatest interest to you.

• Field of Interest Funds - Field of interest and designated funds allow donors to offer their personal support at a level and in a manner that is personally rewarding for them More....
• Undesignated - to be used wherever the need is greatest.
• Exit Outreach Program - For street youth, assistance for those who have run away or are at risk of self harm or prostitution. Promotes health of young people and assists them in leaving the streets.
• The Eastside and Westside Family Centres - Walk in counselling, immediate, no cost, response when it is needed most, at the time of crisis.
• Facilities Development, Renovation, and Upgrading
• Summer and Winter Recreation Programs - Allow troubled youth to participate in a normal way in various activities including connections with Scouts Canada.
• Research - Monitors outcomes and best practices to promote program effectiveness and maintain Wood's Homes position as a leading provider of services to children and families.
• Taylor Education Fund - Educational support for children who have been in the care of Wood's Homes. You can assist in helping youth attain full educational potential.
• Work Experience Program - An opportunity for young people to develop job skills with the support needed for them to become productive and reliable employees.
• Youth Shelter - A short term 15 day centre for young people without a safe place to be.
