Opportunities: Volunteers

I believe children are our most important resource.

Wood's Homes has depended upon the generosity of neighbours, friends and strangers since the early 1920's. Today, life is different...our needs are different and the kids and families we serve are different. Yet the spirit of generosity remains much the same.

I really love volunteering... It's my life.

Our volunteers continue to be just as committed, enthusiastic, unselfish and wise. We could not do the work we do without them. We are honoured and humbled by their dedication and presence in all our endeavours.

Volunteer Opportunities

There are a variety of ways in which community volunteers can be of service to the children and families we serve. Volunteers currently serve in the following areas:

• CRT Crisis Phone Operators
• Special Event Volunteers

• Office Assistance
