The Community Resource Team (CRT) is a 24 hours/day, 7 days/week telephone and mobile support service. Each of our team of professionals represents the psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy disciplines, and provides service to all individuals and families in the Calgary area.

CRT staff view crisis as being a normal process all people confront at some point in their lives.

Examples of a crisis situation can include:

• parent/child conflict
• conflict with the law
• depression, suicide, running concerns
• schooling difficulties
• drug/alcohol concerns
• domestic violence
• relationship issues.

CRT's service components include:

• Crisis Counselling via telephone
• home visits, school visits, hospital visits
• risk assessments and Education through workshops, keynote presentations, community resource fairs
• practicum student placement.

• diffusion of tension and crisis through immediate support
• deas/interventions for decreasing family conflic
• information, education, and referral to other community-based services.
